Gift ideas / wish list
I absolutely love fresh flowers and like to have them in my home as much as possible but when I’m looking for something a little bit different to send as a gift I like to shop around for something special. These are just a few of my favourite gift ideas of things which I’d LOVE to receive myself! I do like to make a real effort into choosing something that someone will personally love as there’s nothing worse than receiving a gift that you don’t like. It doesn’t have to be expensive, just something that shows you have put some care and thought into choosing it.
Fortnum and Mason have a lovely range of items and you can have them sent to the recipients address with a lovely gold embossed F&M card printed with a personal message. My favourite is the tea basket which costs £60 plus delivery and comes filled with lovely goodies and a cup and saucer.

There are lots of different lovely teas and I recently sent my sister the box of 60 fruit teabags which she loved.

Another favourite gift of mine to send to someone is anything from Jo Malone Again there is a good price range to work with and they send out to the recipient with free postage and a personalised gift card which is a great service in my opinion. I have sent candles and shower gels and cologne to friends and it is always a successful gift bearing in mind that perfume is a very personal choice so always make sure you know which scent they prefer. I remember being quite offended years ago when someone bought me a perfume which I hated but maybe that’s just me being a fusspot!
I’m a huge fan of anything Liberty and am currently crushing on the Liberty Phoebe range. Just in case my husband is reading this my absolute favourite is the new kettle and toaster (yes I’d rather have these than a new handbag) I know it’s not the kind of gift you’d randomly send a friend but I just had to include them as they’re so beautiful ?
Another lovely gift which I have both given and received are these Swarovski crystalline pens which come in ballpoint or stylus. They are available in a range of colours and are super pretty and affordable at around £24 for the ballpoint and £34 for the stylus
Other beautiful gifts which I have given and received are from the current Royal Albert collection of gorgeous teacups and accessories. A friend gave me the gorgeous polka blue cake stand as a thank you for helping her set up a FB account for her business and I was thrilled with it. I’ve also been given teacups and the large cake plate from this range and I love them all! The Miranda Kerr range comes in stunning colours and designs and is perfect for that special gift.
One of the best places to find super pretty and reasonably priced gifts is Cath Kidston and I would be happy with anything from there. There are so many different ranges and there’s something to suit everyone with their gorgeous florals and polka dot patterns.
Anthropologie also have some beautiful items in stock at the moment which would be perfect for gifts.
This book would make a beautiful gift with it’s gorgeous illustrations and facts about the 50 flowers profiled.
