When I have friends round for a little catch up I usually try and make an effort to set a pretty table and my table decor generally reflects whichever season we are in.  Spring is definitely the season to embrace all things pretty and pastel and these gorgeous vintage Colclough ballet teacups fit the bill perfectly with their delicate florals and pastel hues.

I found the prettiest little vintage embroidered table cloths on eBay featuring Easter chicks, flowers & eggs and these are  going to be appearing  lots on my table over the next few weeks.

Scones with strawberry jam & clotted cream are always a must at these little catchups and I bought  an exceedingly cute little cake with daisies on it from Marks & Spencer which is totally perfect for this time of year!

I filled a teacup with some mini chocolate eggs and popped some little daisies in for a cute look.

I also used little miniature glass domes as table decor with decorative painted eggs inside them and dotted a few tealights and fresh flowers on the table to complete the look
