Styling a baby shower is always a big favourite of mine as it’s such a happy occasion with lots of pretty pastel decorations.  There’s a few of my friends expecting babies this summer so I decided to host a little celebration for them in my garden during the lovely sunny weather we enjoyed recently.

Party Pieces is always fabulous for pretty decorations & accessories for all those special occasions and I love everything in their ‘Oh Baby’ range!

I keep an old kitchen table in the garage which is totally perfect for using in the garden in the warmer weather and I used a pink tablecloth with jugs of fresh flowers and gorgeous gold plates, matching paper napkins  and pink & gold paper cups from party pieces to set the table.

Of course no tea party is complete without some pretty cupcakes and the Oh Baby cake toppers and some pretty edible flowers were perfect for this occasion!

I also set up a little area at the bottom of the garden under the trees with a bench and a little table with the fabulous baby shower photo props and  advice cards for everyone to fill in and tied the gorgeous gold Baby Shower bunting above it along with a little chandelier decorated with roses and pearls.

I dotted some of the fab Oh Baby balloons around the garden for some extra decor and for party favours used the cutest little miniature cake stands with a sweetie inside each one and I think they are my favourite party favours to date!!

It’s always such a bonus when the rain stays away and thankfully the weather was beautifully sunny and perfect for sitting outdoors and I’m planning another little get together once all the little bundles of joy have arrived safely so here’s hoping the sunshine makes an appearance again soon!
